Cat Survives 10-Mile Trip on Top of Car
The poor little kitty! An orange tabby named Cuddle Bug (or C.B. for short) rode for 15 miles on the roof of his owner's
car as it zoomed down Interstate 15 in Idaho. He survived.
The Associated Press reports that Torri Hutchinson was driving along I-15 when she noticed a male motorist was frantically
trying to get her attention while pointing to the roof of her car. Hutchinson was wary of the guy, but thought the ski rack
attached to the roof her automobile may have come loose. She pulled over, but to be safe, she kept her car doors locked and
the motor running.
Meanwhile, the Good Samaritan pulled up behind her and Hutchinson heard him yelling, "Your cat! Your cat!" He got out of
his car and grabbed the orange tabby off the roof of Hutchinson's vehicle. The surprised owner said she had driven about 10
miles with Cuddle Bug on top of the car, not even noticing the cat was there when she stopped to get gas.
How did Cuddle Bug get on the roof? Hutchinson told AP that he had climbed into the back of her car as
she was getting ready to leave. She took him out, but he must have jumped on the roof when she wasn't looking. He's now the
cat with eight lives. One has definitely been used up!

Actor Orlando Bloom who plays Legolas in
the Lord of the Rings trilogy, says he patterned some of his fighting movements based on
watching cats jump up on a table!
"When I think of Legolas, I think of a cat. You know how a cat will hop up on
a table and just suddenly stop with no forward motion, staying absolutely still and alert? Cats never look stiff or heavy,
they are graceful and poised, but always switched-on. That's Legolas," said Orlando Bloom.
